Kenneth K. Horio, 81, of Los Alamitos, Calif., died April 18 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran, a retired engineer for The Aerospace Corporation, 1957 alumnus of Hilo High School and member of Hilo High Esquires.
